Sword of Honour

The Sword of Honour winner, 21709 OCdt Siti Syamimi binti Haji Emran, has a qualification of MSc in The Science of Occupational Health, Safety and the Environment from University of Birmingham, United Kingdom. OCdt Siti Syamimi binti Haji Emran has a strong personality with a dedicated and committed nature in carrying out the responsibilities given. She always has a positive mindset and works towards producing quality work. This OCdt also has a mature and detailed outlook as well as able to give opinions and ideas that are comprehensive and creative. This OCdt has consistently achieved excellent overall grades from the Generic Term through to the end of the course. She has strong will and persistence for continuous progress and self-improvement. Thus the officers and instructors of Officer Cadet School have chosen OCdt Siti Syamimi binti Haji Emran as worthy of the Sword of Honour Award.


Best Academic Award

The Best Academic Award winner is 50256 OCdt Awang Mohammad Adi Asmawi bin Awang Adanan. He has a qualification of HND in Sport Development and Coaching from University of Wales Institute, Cardiff. He has displayed strong intellectual ability, observation and analytical thinking that are critical and thorough.  He also has showed a consistently admirable achievement in essay writing and verbal presentation.




Best Military Skill Award

The Best Military Skill winner is 50246 OCdt (U) Muhammad Hifdzullah Haji Mat Yamin. His highest qualification is Degree in Electical and Electronic Engineering from University of Manchester, United Kingdom. He is an optimistic person and is committed in carrying out any task given. He is also a risk-taker who strongly believes in his own abilities. He also has high spirit and positivity during the training and thus making him out to be an example for his peers.




Best Physical Training Award

The Best Physical Training Award winner is 21714 OCdt (L) Nurul Hairani binti Abdul Hamid. She has a qualification of Degree in Physical Education from University Brunei Darussalam. She is an OCdt with strong will and carried a positive attitude throughout the training. She has delivered a consistent and progressive performance in the Basic Fitness Test (BFT). She has attained the fastest BFT time for Intake 9 with a time of 9 minutes 40 seconds as well as an A+ grade (Platinum) for her Cadet Physical Fitness Assessment (CPFA). She is also active in other activities outside of the school, for example in achieving tenth place in the annual marathon The Run in the Open Women 12 km category.
